For the first time in decades (possibly my entire life), I wanted Korean food for my birthday. I made 냉면 (naengmyeon, cold noodles in chilled beef broth) and for dessert, 팥빙수 (patbingsu, shaved ice with fruit and sweet red beans). Happy birthday to me!
